Aqui um exemplo de uma minuta que pode enviar ao DGRM contra a exploracao de petroleo e gas no offshore de Portugal e em resposta a uma consulta publica sobre pedidos de licencas de utilizacao do espaco maritimo. (Galp/ENI or Repsol/Partex).

Here's an example of an objection letter to offshore drilling applications by oil and gas companies that can be submited to DGRM as part of a public consultation phase by surfers, wind-surders or SUP lovers. (Galp/ENI or Repsol/Partex)

Investors have taken legal action against Saipem, an Italy-based oilfield services provider to the international offshore oil and gas industry.

Italian oil company Eni has reported a net loss of €952 million ($1.04B) in the third quarter of 2015, compared to a profit of €1.7 billion ($1.86B) in the same period last year. Eni’s adjusted net loss was €257 million ($281.8M), compared to a profit of €1.2 billion ($1.3B) in the same period last year.

Saipem, an Italy-based contractor, that is in the ENI stable and is the contractor that will be used in July 2016 if opposition fails to stop proposed offshore drilling in the Aljezur costal area in the Alentejo Basin deep offshore, is being investigated over a potential involvement in a bribery case in Brazil.

Credit rating agency Moody’s has downgraded the Italian oilfield services provider Saipem from the provisional Baa3 long-term issuer rating, into a definitive Ba1 Corporate Family Rating (CFR) with a stable outlook. Saipem is the ENI company that owns the Saipem 12000 that will be used to drill the exploratory well in the Aljezur area in the Alentejo Offshore Basin. Meaning that as we have indicated previously - the work will go to international contractors.

Eni’s Goliat field located in the Barents Sea, offshore Norway, has been hit by a gas leak. This is the same oil company that is the majority shareholder of the Galp/Eni consortium that intends drilling the first exploratory well off Aljezur's coastline in the Alentejo Basin from 1 July 2016. Do we really want them here? You decide ... here's the latest news from their operations in Norway!

An example of a drilling ship operation that is similar to what will take place in the Alentejo basin (Aljezur) by GALP/ENI on 1 July 2016 if there are no valid objections.

The consortium Galp/ENI has requested from DGRM authorization to drill an exploration well starting on 1 July 2016 at approximately 46,5Km from the Aljezur shore and at about 1070 metres.
